The Richmond Area Arts Council will be hosting an event on Nov. 16 entitled "A Night in Paris!" The program will feature multiple performers including Swing '39, a Louisville-based group that specializes in Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grappelli-inspired gypsy jazz, dancers from the Argentine Tango of Lexington Mind Body Studio, and local classical pianist and Debussy specialist Wes Golightly. A fantastic French dinner will be included featuring coq au vin, quiche Lorraine, croque monsieur, mushroom bourguignon, and other dishes. A cash bar will be available. The event will be held at the Richmond Area Arts Center located at 399 W. Water St. Please reserve your seats as no tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at www.artsinrichmond.org under "events" or by calling 859-624-4242. RAAC members will receive a 10% discount. The event is sponsored by EKU Catering, Dominion Senior Living, Baptist Health Richmond, and Central Bank.
