A Night in Emerald City

Alliance for a Brighter Community Foundation (the non-profit arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Omega Alpha Omega Chapter) invites you to join us for our annual fundraising event, A Night in Emerald City. The event continues to garner acclaim as one of the premier fundraising events of the year in Greater North Dallas. This event was launched in 2016 by the Alliance for a Brighter Community (ABC) Foundation as a fundraising endeavor to support the organization’s philanthropic efforts. In the span of six years, the Foundation has contributed over $100,000 towards scholarships and an additional $150,000 to various charitable causes within the community. Through fostering partnerships and expanding its philanthropic endeavors, the Foundation has made a significant impact across the community. This year, the Foundation aims to raise $40,000.

Attendees of 'A Night in Emerald City' can look forward to an evening of elegance, entertainment, and purpose. The night begins with a cocktail reception from 7 PM to 8 PM, featuring lite bites, a cash bar, and a soulful performance by saxophonist Maurice Curtis. As the evening unfolds, the party kicks into high gear with music and dancing starting at 8 PM, brought to you by the electrifying sounds of DJ Pharoah. Guests will also have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for a shot at fabulous luxury experiences. To top it all off, a late-night breakfast buffet will be served at 10 PM, ensuring the night ends on a delicious note. It's an evening where celebration meets philanthropy, promising a memorable experience for all.

By attending "A Night in Emerald City" on June 21, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Frisco, you are giving your consent to the Alliance for a Brighter Community Foundation to capture your image and/or likeness through photography and videography. These images and videos may be used in future promotional materials, advertising, and on social media platforms to highlight the success of our events and the impact of our programs.
