A Night for Literacy presented by UM Children's Literacy Project

Join us for an engaging night of learning and discussing the impact of literacy on our community hosted by UM Children's Literacy Project!
About this Event

We will be screening "Sentenced," a short film showcasing the epidemic of childhood illiteracy through immersive story-telling, followed by a panel where we will hear from experts and allies in the field of childhood literacy. All proceeds will go to UM Children's Literacy Project's 2025-2026 service project where we will be bringing books to Mississippi elementary schools. Refreshments will be provided.
