A Night for Celebrating Our Autism & Disability Community
In Recognition of National Disability Awareness & Employment Month
Join us on Monday, October 20th, 2025, from 6–9 PM at Porta’s Monk Room in Jersey City for an evening of community, connection, and celebration.
Hosted by Dr. Kerry Magro — a professional speaker, author, and autistic adult who was nonspeaking as a child — this event shines a light on inclusion and the progress we continue to make together.
Through his nonprofit, KFM Making a Difference, Kerry has awarded 162 partial scholarships to autistic students for college, provided grants for special education teachers, and even supported small businesses that hire people with disabilities.
This free community event will feature:
- Cash bar and light appetizers (no sit-down menu)
- Networking and community connection
- Conversations around disability employment, addressing the challenges many face in finding meaningful work and the importance of inclusive hiring
- A short program with remarks and sponsor recognition
- Opportunities to support the mission of KFM Making a Difference

While admission is free, this is a fundraiser in recognition of National Disability Awareness & Employment Month.
We are seeking sponsors starting at $75 — please contact for details. Guests may also make an optional donation through Eventbrite or during the event.
