Join us for our third dinner and speaker series. We will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Mount Pleasant Doughboy monument. Speakers Rick Meason and Gene Kowalewski will tell the story of the local soldiers of Company E 110th Infantry Regiment who fought bravely during World War I, and the Mount Pleasant citizens' efforts to establish a fitting memorial to honor those who fell. Doors will open at 5:00 PM
Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM
Menu: Pierogi Lasagna, Pasta Bar (proteins will be grilled chicken or Italian sausage), Vegetable, Salad, Bread, Dessert, Beverages
Presentation will begin at 6:30 PM
We will have World War I photos and artifacts on display. We will also have Mount Pleasant themed souvenirs for sale, including our exclusive hand-made wooden Doughboy 100th Anniversary ornaments. It will be a fun, educational event for all ages.
