About this Event
A New Way of Life is a nationally acclaimed reentry program for women established in 1998 by Susan Burton. With deep gratitude and great pride, we invite you to celebrate a powerful milestone at A New Way of Life Reentry Project for the one year anniversary celebration of opening our first reentry home in New Orleans. On January 15, 2026, we will gather to commemorate one year and honor the collective impact that has been made possible through partnerships, trust, and shared commitments.
In just one year, 26 formerly incarcerated women have walked through our doors seeking safety, stability, and a second chance. Today, we proudly serve 13 women, each supported in a safe, dignified, and nurturing environment rooted in accountability, care, and hope.
