Acclaimed tenor Nicholas Phan joins Les Délices for A Moment’s Oblivion, pairing Baroque cantatas and instrumental works that take listeners on a journey seeking truth or resolution with a new commission from Vietnamese-American composer Viet Cuong. Based on a Confucian myth, Cuong’s A Moment’s Oblivion explores the effects of a mysterious illness, experimental treatments, and miraculous recovery on a patient and their community. Projected supertitles at all performances. A pre-concert talk with tenor Nicholas Phan, composer Viet Cuong, and Debra Nagy begins at 3:30 pm.Tickets are $28 (General Admission) or $45 (Preferred Seating). $10 tickets available for Students/under-18s.
