About this Event
A beautiful documentary (2017 PG) screening from The Little Green Cinema to express our gratitude, love and to say farewell to one of the greatest environmentalist of our time.
Dame Jane Goodall (1934 - 1925) was a world-renowned British primatologist, anthropologist, and conservationist, famous for her groundbreaking, decades-long study of wild chimpanzees at Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania, where she discovered their complex social lives and tool-making abilities, revolutionizing our understanding of humans' closest relatives and inspiring global conservation efforts through the Jane Goodall Institute. From a childhood dream of Africa, she began her work in 1960 under Louis Leakey's guidance, immersing herself in the chimpanzees' lives and revealing their individuality, emotions, and behaviors previously thought unique to humans.
"Jane' is not just a wildlife documentary about chimpanzees. It's about life, relationship, persistence, success, failure, love, death and nearly every aspects of life in the most beautiful way you can imagine.
A very impressive, effective and soulful movie which no one should miss."
