Join us for a hands-on educational event like no other! The conference will include themes of nutrition throughout life, maternal nutrition, etc.
This event awards 6 CPE/CEU credits and contact hours.
Featuring Maggie Moon as our keynote and plenary speaker. Maggie is a brain health and nutrition expert and best-selling author of The MIND Diet, a book that provides evidence-based food and nutrition solutions for optimal brain health, delivered with cultural humility.
THE CONFERENCE
The conference will include exhibiting organizations and vendors, presentations and question/answer/discussion sessions, cooking demos (with taste testing, of course!).
Lunch will also be provided, we have made menu accommodations for those who have dietary needs including but not limited to: gluten-free, nut-free, vegan. Upon registration to the event, there will be an area to note any food allergies or intolerances that we should be aware of.
This event is $150 for both members and non-members, and $75 for students and retirees.

Keynote and Plenary Speaker
Maggie Moon, MS, RD
Maggie Moon, MS, RD, is an award-winning nutritionist specializing in brain health. She is a Columbia University-educated, culinary-school trained, registered dietitian with clinical training from top-ranked New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell Universities. She has consulted with government agencies, national non-profits, and global brands.
Moon is lead author of the Neurologic Disorders chapter in Krause and Mahan’s Food and the Nutrition Care Process, a renowned resource in university nutrition programs worldwide. Additionally, she authored the Brain Health chapter in The Culinary Medicine Textbook, a comprehensive guide for community health initiatives. Her book, The MIND Diet, offers practical nutrition solutions to enhance cognitive resilience through food for optimal brain health.
As a globally sought-after nutrition expert, Moon has shared her expertise with millions through international conferences, TV interviews, and publications such as Eating Well, Good HouseKeeping, MindBodyGreen, Men’s Health, Prevention, RealSimple, Well+Good, Women’s Health, Yahoo! and more. She is based in Los Angeles, where she enjoys hiking with her husband, cooking with her octogenarian mom, and creating content for @minddietmeals.
