Kom naar A Lab voor de eerste editie van A Lab Cult. Hoboïsten Arthur Klaassens en Vincent van Wijk maakten samen met componist Celia Swart het stuk 'The Mirror In My Room'. Tijdens deze uitvoering gaat Arthur Klaassens een dialoog aan met zijn eigen spiegelbeeld, Vincent van Wijk. Het werk is een visueel en muzikaal verhaal over ambitie, autonomie en verbondenheid. Dit stuk is ontstaan uit vragen en gesprekken over zelftwijfel en zelfkritiek en laat zien hoe het leven er uit zou kunnen zien wanneer je jezelf bevrijd van harde innerlijke stemmen.

Join us at A Lab for the first edition of A Lab Cult. We will witness The Mirror In My Room by oboists Arthur Klaassens and Vincent van Wijk and composer Celia Swart '! During the performance, Arthur Klaassens enters into a tense dialogue with his own reflection, Vincent van Wijk. The work is a visual and musical story about ambition, autonomy and belonging. This piece was born out of questions and conversations about self-doubt and self-criticism, and it attempts to show what it might look like to become more free from these harsh inner voices.
