Tahi, rua, toru, whā….It’s Kōanga so let’s celebrate Te Wiki O Te Reo with waiata/songs, pūrakau/stories and toi/crafts about the manu of Waiheke in particular the newest manu on the motu - the kiwi.Local storyteller, Tanya Batt and musician Pete Forster will be leading the afternoon celebration aimed at our tamaiki aged 0-5 years. The event will also include fun crafts with Te Korowai O Waiheke. Bring your whānau along to this magical theatre experience celebrating Māori Language Week!
