The Emerging Leaders of Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) are thrilled to welcome you to our first event of 2023: a Justice Social! Are you looking for a welcoming, low-pressure environment to meet other justice-oriented, young Philadelphians? Look no further! Join our Justice Social for a relaxed happy hour followed by an informative panel discussion on how connecting with other young leaders can advance both your personal goals and social justice efforts in Philadelphia.
The Emerging Leaders program, a component of PLA's #JustPhilly community engagement initiative, brings together passionate, young changemakers from a variety of fields who are interested in creating a more just Philadelphia. The program offers quarterly events for leaders to meet like-minded peers, learn about key issues affecting Philadelphians, develop leadership skills, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Please note that you do not need prior experience with PLA or legal aid to join this event. We encourage you to bring guests who are also interested in social justice and professional development opportunities for young Philadelphians.
Please note that all guests must pre-register for this event by March 20th and must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend. This is a 21+ event.
