Bay City Players is thrilled to bring this new Michigan-born play to our stage, fresh off its 2023 world premiere at The Purple Rose Theatre. Written by Paul Stroili, this hilarious story proves it’s never too late to dream big, push boundaries, and turn up the volume.
Set in a senior care facility in upstate New York, the play follows a group of eccentric residents who refuse to be sidelined by age, aches, or outdated rules. When one wild idea sparks a movement, things start to spiral hilariously out of control.
A JUKEBOX FOR THE ALGONQUIN is a love letter to the underdogs, the overlooked, and anyone who's ever wanted one last shot at making a little noise.
