Celtic Mist presents A Journey Through the Tarot.Join Kat for this 8-week Journey through the Tarot. In this series, we will cover many topics within the Tarot from beginner to intermediate. We will become familiar with the “Journey of the Fool,” have a walk through the world of the minor arcana, and meet the characters in the court cards. Some other topics to be covered include:
A brief history of Tarot
What is intuition?
Cleansing your cards
Creating sacred space
Clarifying cards or “jumpers”
Using a signifier
Familiarize yourself with your Tarot deck
Asking the right questions
Exploring the symbolism in Tarot
Reversed cards
Elemental correspondences
Numerology and Tarot
Reading Tarot for yourself
Tarot spreads
And most importantly – practice!
This workshop is open to individuals 17 and older. Between the ages of 14 and 17, a parent must also take the class.
You will need a tarot deck for this class, and we highly recommend any version of the Rider Waite Smith decks, although if you have another Tarot deck, that will be fine. We have many decks in stock at Celtic Mist, and our friendly staff will be happy to help you. This is, however, a Tarot class, so Oracle decks will not be covered. You will be given a binder to add to your weekly lesson sheets, plus a small journal for note-taking or tarot journaling. You can certainly bring your own tarot journal and of course, your favourite pen or pencil 😊

TIME: Wednesday evenings from 6-9 pm
COST: $192.00 + 28.80 Hst = 220.80
🌿 Workshop Registration & Cancellation Policy
To hold your seat in class, a $110.40 deposit is required at the time of registration. Workshops are intentionally kept small and cozy so everyone has space to participate, connect, and feel supported. Because of this, the following cancellation policy is in place:
✨ 50% of your total workshop fee is refundable up to 4 days before class
✨ Within 4 days of the workshop, refunds are not available
✨ If the workshop is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund
