A Journey Through the Chakras
Session #1: The Root Chakra: Muladhara - The Foundation. The Anchor.
This workshop series explores the chakra system from the ground up, combining insightful teachings with a deeply restorative yoga practice.
Each session will begin with an exploration of a single chakra, delving into its history, meaning, and energetic influence. We'll then embody this knowledge through a grounding, alignment-focused yoga sequence inspired by Iyengar and Yapana traditions. Expect sustained, supported poses to cultivate stability and deepen your connection to the featured chakra.
To further enhance the experience, each session concludes with a deeply restorative shavasana, guided Yoga Nidra meditation, and gentle acupuncture to harmonize the corresponding energy centers and promote stress relief.
We'll begin with the Root Chakra and progress upwards, building a strong foundation for overall well-being. While attending the entire series is ideal, each session offers valuable insights and practices that can be enjoyed independently.
Please bring your mat and water. Props will be provided, but feel free to bring any favorites from home. Light refreshments and snacks will be offered post session.
