Zoe Thorn - A fixture in Toronto's underground music scene since the mid-nineties, Zoe Thorn has returned to her county roots and looks forward to bringing her passion, influential taste and meticulous mixing to each and every one of her eclectic and energetic sets. Her early stomping grounds of the Toronto warehouse rave scene, legendary Industry nightclub and annual pilgrimages to Miami’s Winter Music Conference shaped her style and song selection. She perfected her craft by spinning private parties for her supportive network of global friends. In 2021 she wrote and voiced a track called, "You Drive Me Crazy", with award winning producer Paul Johnson. A remix with Supernova landed it a #1 on Beatport.
Touring the world, from Daley Plaza, Chicago, to the Barbados, to London (UK), from Parkdale to Picton, Zoe looks forward to sharing her feel-good high energy vibe with Prince Edward County.
Hri Neil - has been dj-ing for over 20 years, playing spaces as diverse as the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (M.O.C.C.A.), the Solstice Festival (OM Reunion Project), and the Firelight Lantern Festival (Department of Illumination). Since moving to The County 14 years ago, Neil has established residencies at local restaurants and bars, as well as organizing and promoting his own events. Trippy + dubbed out… …travelling across genres …this is music for the music lovers…
Tomas Del Balso - has always had a fascination with dance music culture across genres. In his formative years his focus was definitely more on underground indie music as a self-taught musician, starting with guitar, moving onto drums, synthesizers and musical production. His most notable act DDMMYYYY toured the world, recording studio albums with releases on vinyl and cassette. His band worked with notable producers, releasing a split vinyl single with Geoff Barrow from Portisheads’ secondary band; Beak, and performing at All Tomorrow’s Parties in London, UK.
Electronic music for Thomas is really about connecting with a love of musical repetition and providing a new unfamiliar experience with familiar aspects and tunes. He says,
“House music is a kind of playground for sample-based music to inspire dancing while also referencing musical history and enjoyment of a thunderous subwoofer with friends. In a lot of ways, electronic music is a perfect place to try and be communal and inspired in the moment on the dance floor.” Which is why you will see a lot of elements like jazz, disco, hip-hop, and even some psych blended into his dj sets. “DJ culture for me is about musical appreciation and trying to share that appreciation in real time to people on the dance floor.
