The critics didnt acclaim it much, but with titles such as Silent Night All Day Long and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, its still Prine at his lovely wry best, bringing Christmas home. We are proud to present A John Prine Christmas a night of your favorite songs featuring folk troubadour and Prine scholar, Jenner Fox, with his all-star band. The evening will weave together Prines classic hits, his holiday themed songs, stories, and lots of singing along. Come prepared to laugh and cry and ho ho ho your way through celebrating a true American original. Jenner Fox Band:Made up of members from Pacific Northwest groups Polecat, Petty or Not and Skillethead, the Jenner Fox Band first assembled for a 240 mile cargo bicycle tour across Northern California in 2021. It clicked. They shared a sensibility for deep listening, three part harmonies, John Prine, and flat tires.
