On the 2nd February we will be strolling from the delightful town of Cranbrook to visit Sissinghurst. The walk will start at Cranbrook High Street Car Park which is the one nearer the Coop supermarket. From the car park we will make our way through the town and then through fields and the sites of Roman roads until we reach the National Trust property of Sissinghurst Castle. We will not gain entry to the main property but the footpaths surrounding it give lots of opportunities to see its unique tower. From there we will stroll through fields and woods to return to Cranbrook. Along the way we will hear tales of ghostly murderer, evacuees, grumpy prisoners of war and bohemian parties.

🐾 Friendly dogs are welcome! Please ensure they're leashed when needed, especially around fields with livestock. Owners are always fully responsible for their dogs.
Before hitting the trail, make sure to pack:
👟 A - Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
🌧️ B - A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days
💧 C - Drinking water and a packed lunch
💊 D - Personal medication (Let us know confidentially about any medical conditions)
👕 E - Suitable walking attire
