📜 Explore the History of Boughton Lees, Eastwell Park & Kings Wood📝 A quick intro
On the 25th of January we will be strolling from the village of Boughton Lees to the surrounding sites and settlements.
The walk will start at the Green at Boughton Aluph. There is parking around the Green. From here we will make our way through the village to the ruins of Eastwell church with its intriguing secret.
We will then walk over a hill and through fields and orchards to reach the scenic Challock church before we reach the village itself.
Then we will go through King’s Woods to return to our starting point. Along the way we will hear tales of a man brave enough to duel the Duke of Wellington, a favourite hunting spot for a King in a romantic and deer sense and the mystery grave in the ruined church.

Terrain: There will be a series of hills and as we are going up onto the North Downs and the then down, it will be quite steep at points.
Distance: Approximately 13.1 km (7.5 miles)

Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days

🐕 We welcome friendly dogs on our walks, provided they remain on a lead at all times. The owner is fully responsible for their dog throughout the walk.
📸 We take photos during our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you prefer not to be included, just let us know on the day.
❗ Cancellation policy states: Full payment becomes due if a user cancels within 4 days of the activity. Any person cancelling outside of 4 days, will receive a credit available to use within 90 days. Cancel at least 4 days before the event to receive a credit note for a future walk, valid for 90 days.
