For singer/songwriters Heather Platts and Bruce Michael Miller (Crazy Love), Idaho is the land of creative possibilities. The uniqueness of its people, their open hearted, friendly nature, the richness of its history, the diversity of the landscape with its majestic, natural beauty, make Idaho an ideal environment/inspiration for writing songs. The “Idaho Originals” presentation features Crazy Love performing eight original songs about Idaho along with the stories of how each song came about. The show also includes a slideshow of original artwork by Idaho artists who were inspired by the Idaho Originals songs. An educational, inspirational, and always heartfelt performance that will leave the audience with a feeling of community, civic pride and a newfound appreciation of the great state of Idaho.
This Herrett Forum Lecture is free to attend.
