Hike Details
HIKE: Around 3 Miles: Overlook Trail, Hemlock Hollow Trail, Bluebell trail, (cross through RV Park), Campground trail
Hike Description: We will start out on the Overlook Trail and head to the visitor center where we will stop by Anna's memorial bench (At the time of her death Anna, was working at the River State Park and a bench was placed in her memory) where we will take a moment of silence and remember Anna and all those lost to impaired driving. We will continue on our hike down Hemlock Overlook trail and connect up with the Blue Bell Trail where we will then connect to the Campground trail (we will need to walk through the RV park to connect to the campground trail) where we will end our hike where we started at the Overlook.
For a shorter hike: Those wishing for a short hike can hike with us to the visitor center and after we stop by at Anna's Bench can make the round trip back to the overlook. This will be about 1 mile.
