This pod emphasizes building a community around handcrafts! - Practice creativity and personal initiative: learn through books, online, and other participants.
- Meet new friends: build community through continues meetups that are fun and rewarding.
- Learn a new skill - Teach a new skill
There are no experts leading the sessions; instead, everyone contributes to the learning experience, encouraging collaboration and shared growth. Parents of kids younger than 12 are encouraged to attend but older youth are welcomed to join on their own.
- Bring your own materials and ideas, unless this is stated below. Sometimes materials will be provided. Please connect with Amy if you have any questions at [email protected]. Leave comments and excitement.
- If you enjoy your time during this pod, please consider giving a donation to the Workshop to keep this space open and available to gatherings like this one! A monthly donation of $20 to $80 is wonderful.
Future Meetups:
Lantern Making - Please see video in comments to get an understanding of what we are doing together. Please bring your own materials. Including tissue paper and masking tape. I will be harvesting willow branches for my lantern but you can also bring bamboo to make a large lantern or something similar. I'll try to share a few videos with different material options.
