About this Event
Ever wondered what it really takes to survive French immigration? Two immigrants. Two cultures. One brutally funny guide.
“A Guide to French Immigration” is a special half-and-half english stand-up comedy showcase featuring Isma (from Morocco) and Karthik (from India) — two Paris-based comedians breaking down the chaos, culture shocks, paperwork nightmares, and accidental life lessons of building a life in France.
From visa confusion to cultural misunderstandings, Isma and Karthik turn their real immigrant experiences into sharp, relatable, laugh-out-loud comedy. Different backgrounds, wildly different perspectives — same struggle, same city, same stage.
The night is hosted by John Almo, keeping things moving, loose, and unpredictable as he guides the audience through this unofficial (and definitely unapproved) crash course on French immigration.
Set in an intimate Parisian venue with good drinks and an even better crowd, this is the kind of show where locals, expats, and travelers all find themselves laughing a little too hard.
Whether you’re French, freshly arrived, or still waiting on that prefecture appointment… this show is for you.
Brought to you by the Tranzit Comedy crew.
Entry is free — donations welcome at the end to support the artists.
Come for the guide. Stay for the jokes.
See you soon 🎤
