Subramaniam is a talented senior Indian violinist, composer and conductor skilled in Carnatic music of south India and Western classical. He is known to have done more than 150 recordings and has worked with many big names like Yehudi Menuhin, Stéphane Grappelli, Ruggiero Ricci, etc. Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri is a phenomenon in the arena of Indian Classical Music. Musicians honor him as one of the most respected Tabla players, worthy of highest regard all over the world. Today a two time Grammy nominee, it was Swapan’s beloved parents, through their own passion for music, who initiated his formal musical training and inspired him in the field of Tabla, paving the path that would eventually lead him to virtuosity. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, an outstanding vocalist of the famed “Jaipur-Atrauli” Khayal Gayaki tradition, represents the new generation of veterans worthy of wearing the mantle of the old masters. Dr.Bhide-Deshpande has performed at several national and international platforms and her concerts are hugely popular, critically acclaimed by music connoisseurs the world over. Her continuing contribution to Hindustani classical vocal music has brought her several awards and accoldares. In 2005, she became the first female Hindustani vocalist to be decorated with the presitigious Rashtriya Kumar Gandharva Samman. Rakesh Chaurasia (born 10 January 1971) is an Indian flautist, who plays the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute. He is the nephew of flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia. He was awarded 'Indian of the Year 2017. Chaurasia has played and toured extensively with Béla Fleck, Edgar Meyer, and Zakir Hussain (musician), and was featured on Fleck's album. This album won a Grammy award in 2024 in the category of Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. Additionally, the track Pashto won in the category of Best Global Music Performance. Ambi Subramaniam Hailed as “India’s Itzhak Pearlmann” by Ozy Magazine, Ambi Subramaniam has been trained by his father and guru Dr. L. Subramaniam since he was three years old, and gave his first performance at the age of seven. He has received the Ritz Icon of the Year Award, the Rotary Youth Award, two GiMAs (Global Indian Music Award for Best Fusion Album and Best Carnatic Instrumental Album) and Big Indian Music Award (for Best Carnatic Album). He received a ‘Golden Violin’ from Sri Jayendra Saraswati when he was 18. Vivek Datar learnt art of harmonium playing from (late) Pt Vinayakrao Kale at an early age and is currently learning from Vidushi Seema Shirodkar as time permits. He has been accompanying artists for past 20 years. His interests are in the field of tuning theory and applications. Tanmay Bichu was initiated into Tabla by his maternal uncle Shree Vinayak Naik. He began his formal training at the age of 6 and has taken training under Shree Manohar Pimpalaskar, Pt. Ramdas Palsule and currently under Pt. Swapan Chaudhuriji. He is an active performer in various Indian Classical and World Music concerts in India and the US and is a sought after accompanist for all formats of Indian Classical Music.
