Join jewelry and decorative arts historian Levi Higgs (Head of Archives and Brand History at David Webb New York) for a journey through the glittering David Webb archives to find out. He will expound upon the brand’s legacy, the ties to New York City, major design pillars, and archival initiatives the brand has taken on under his leadership.
Levi Higgs holds an MA in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from Parsons, the New School, and has been employed by the David Webb archives since 2013. He speaks and writes frequently on the topic of jewelry and design history, and lives in NYC.

Born in Asheville, North Carolina , the distinguished American jewelry designer, David Webb, is best known for distinctive carved and enameled animal bracelets, dramatic gold necklaces, colorful sautoirs, Maltese cross brooches, dynamic use of pearls and diamonds, and exquisite rock crystal pieces. In 1948, he opened shop in New York City and the rest is history.
