From Prohibition-era speakeasies to family-owned businesses passed down through generations, the 2nd annual "A Glass From the Past" offers a glimpse into the colorful history of Cleveland's Little Italy, one of the city's oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods. Led by knowledgeable guides, participants will visit five stops — Tavern of Little Italy (TOLI), Cent'Anni, Little Italy Wines, Corbo's Bakery, and Lou's Tavern — each with its own story to tell. Along the way, guests will sample delicious Italian-inspired drinks and small bites while soaking in the unforgettable stories of these local landmarks. The shuffle ends at the Italian American Museum of Cleveland (IAMCLE) where guests can party indoors or on the private outdoor patio with plenty of food, drinks, and music.
Tickets are $95 per person, which includes the guided tour, food/beverage sampling at five establishments, and the IAMCLE private party. Proceeds benefit the cultural programming and initiatives of IAMCLE and Inizio, a younger generations club established through Italian Sons and Daughters of America (ISDA). The Shuffle
**Check-in for the shuffle begins at 1:30 p.m. SHARP at the Italian American Museum of Cleveland (IAMCLE), and steps off at 2:00 p.m. AGES 21 AND OVER ONLY.**
The shuffle will take approximately 2 hours and requires walking and some standing. Attendees will be divided into 5 groups. Each group will start the shuffle at one of the 5 participating establishments and circulate as instructed by your guide to the next establishment. Once a group has visited all participating locations, it will head back to IAMCLE. If you want certain individuals to be included in your group, please indicate their names on the Eventbrite order questionnaire when purchasing your tickets. We will do our best to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee that your entire group will be together, especially if it's larger than 10 people.
