The Hardaway's invite you to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary with a Benefit Gala to preserve the history of Camp William Penn.
About this Event

Join us as we honor the history of our U.S. Colored Troops and preserve the history of Camp William Penn. Camp William Penn was established in La Mott (Elkins Park), and was the first and largest federal training camp dedicated to training black soldiers to fight in the Civil War.

This fun filled afternoon features food, music and dancing. There will be a Silent Auction and a special performance by Millicent Sparks as “ Harriet Tubman”.

All proceeds will benefit the Camp William Penn Museum, located in La Mott, Cheltenham Township PA.
