  1. "The 2020 La Dame de Montrose is fabulous. Rich, dense and expansive, the 2020 offers notable vibrancy and a good bit of energy too. Bright acids cut through a core of red/purplish fruit in what is an intense, wonderfully saline Dame. The 2020 finishes with remarkable elegance and sophistication."
    94 pts, Vinous

  2. "This is extremely aromatic and perfumed with crushed-berry, flower, currant and orange-peel character. Full-bodied, very tight and focused with fabulous depth and density that brings you down through the wine. Deep and serious. Very classic wine that reminds me of top Haut-Brions of the mid-1980s." (January 2020)
    98 Points, James Suckling

  3. "Dark, winey, structured and very Pauillac, this is laden with cassis and blackberry puree flavors scored by charcoal and warm earth, with tobacco and cast iron notes. Very long, focused and seriously well-built finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot."
    95 pts, Wine Spectator

  4. "In this stylish wine, fruit and tannins are in harmony. Black plum flavors are richly concentrated with the firm structure. The wine is set for long‑term aging. "
    95 pts, Wine Enthusiast

  5. "The 2020 Bellegrave is a rich, heady Pomerol. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, sweet spice, menthol and licorice build in a creamy, resonant Pomerol that offers tons of immediacy and overall appeal. This powerful, forward Pomerol is quite alluring."
    92 pts, Vinous

  6. "Made from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Merlot, the 2020 Leoville Las Cases is deep garnet‑purple in color. After a swirl or two, it erupts from the glass with explosive scents of blackcurrant cordial, stewed blackberries, juicy blackberries, and violets, leading to suggestions of licorice, cinnamon toast, and fertile loam with a touch of truffles. The medium‑bodied palate is tightly wound with loads of nuanced black fruit, earthy, and floral layers, supported by very fine‑grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and multi‑layered."
    99 pts, The Wine Independent

  7. "The 2020 La Clarté de Haut-Brion is showing nicely in bottle, bursting with notions of grapefruit, nectarine, lemongrass and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a sweet core of fruit and a chalky finish, it will offer demonstrative drinking young."
    92 pts, Wine Advocate

  8. "This is a ripe, full wine, with mint and perfumed flavors from new wood. That gives a rich, smooth character integrating the tannins and structure. It's a fine wine that will, of course, age."
    92 pts, Wine Enthusiast

Meet your host, Thibault Lacoste:

Borned in Bordeaux and « educated » with wine.
One of my grandfather was a “broker/ courtier” in wine; the other one in addition of working in the family company doing trading steel was also in charge of the family vineyard: chateau Ferran in Pessac Léognan
I started my career in Cognac working for a very prestigious cognac House: Delamain.
In 2005 I joined Duclot, one of the major wine merchant of Bordeaux specialized in fine wines. I was in charge of Asian markets first, then in charge of USA & Canada and I took over the management of the export team 10 years ago.
In 2018, in addition of my job at Duclot, I took over the management (from my father) of our family estate : Chateau Ferran
I like wines from around the world, playing tennis…
And very important: Life is too short to drink bad wines.
