About this Event

In her new role as the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Acting Secretary, Adrianne Todman oversees the agency’s mission to ensure that all Americans have access to a quality and affordable home. As the nation continues to see higher home prices and fewer available homes, this mission is more important than ever. To that end, the President's Fiscal Year 2025 budget request for HUD proposed new funding and initiatives aimed at increasing the supply of affordable homes and access to homeownership, while reducing rent burdens and homelessness.

Join BPC’s J. Ronald Terwilliger Center for Housing Policy for a conversation with Acting Secretary Todman about HUD’s role in addressing the housing supply shortage, the agency’s priorities, and how those are reflected in its latest budget request.
