This Broadway hit about the trial of 2 marines sizzles with drama and anticipation. A navy lawyer assigned to defend them is more interested in softball than the case and expects a plea bargain but, encouraged by a female member of his defence team, knows that something is not right and suspects a cover up. They make a valiant effort to defend their clients and, in doing so, puts the marine code of honour on trial.Based loosely on a true story, the author, Aaron Sorkin also wrote the screenplay for the award winning film as well as the hit show “West Wing” and recently adapted “To K*ll a Mockingbird” for the West End. If you can “handle the truth” and want to be “enormously entertained” , this is not a play to be missed.
