Hanover Little Theatre’s production of A Dog’s Life, a musical by Sean Grennan and Leah Okimoto, will be on stage Nov. 15-17 and 21-24. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2 p.m.The new single ticket price is $20 for adults and $19 for seniors and students with no fees for tickets printed at home or bought at the door. There will be a $2 charge for all phone orders and a $1 charge for any tickets delivered through the mail.
In addition to buying tickets online, the HLT box office will be available for in-person purchases:
Saturdays, Nov. 2 and 9, 10 a.m.–noon
Sundays, Nov. 3 and 10, noon–2 p.m.
This musical features Joel who doesn’t want a dog but he wants his girlfriend back, and she wants a dog. But when she refuses to get back together, Joel becomes the reluctant owner of Jack. Meanwhile, Big Dog wants to be adopted alone, but his only way out includes yippy Little Dog. For both of these pairs, hesitant relationships blossom into profound friendships. Blending comic and touching moments, this musical is an uplifting tale of companionship, our time on this earth, and simple, unconditional love.
The cast includes Mathew Barninger as Jack; Kevin Foster as Joel; Kaleb Smith as Big Dog; and Sara Myers as Little Dog. While behind the scenes are Director Jonathan Carbaugh, Stage Manager Nancy Wege, Music Director Sharon Hedges, Behavioral Coach Zoe (the canine) Hedges, and producers Wendee Lewis and Courtney McDougall.
Remember that HLT will donate $2 for each ticket sold to the Saturday, Nov. 16 performance to Good Old Tails Senior Animal Rescue. Matching donations from an anonymous patron and Sommer and O’Donnell – Attorneys at Law will boost the total donation to $6 per seat sold. We will also accept donations from patrons at each performance.
