Step back in time to the 1840s and celebrate the spirit of the season at Dickens’ Christmas in Downtown Warrensburg!Join us on Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as Downtown Warrensburg transforms into a charming holiday village inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of a Victorian Christmas right here in the heart of our community.
The day begins with holiday magic at the Train Depot, featuring a special preview of The Nutcracker by Center Stage Academy at 9:30 a.m. and a cheerful welcome to the season as Father Christmas arrives by train at 9:57 a.m. Thanks to the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce for helping kick off the festivities!
After the morning’s excitement, explore the merriment throughout Downtown! Take a horse and wagon ride, warm up with freshly roasted chestnuts, and enjoy live holiday music as you shop from local artisans and Downtown businesses. Don’t forget to join the Tiny Tim Soup Stroll. Your ticket includes a variety of soups served up by our local restaurants and shops.
