Nasmak PM, a continuation of Eindhoven-based cult band Nasmak, presents “A Dense Night With Nasmak PM” and their third album “PM3: Play Mode - Booby Twist to Tangled Tango”.
Nasmak PM recently released two new albums, PM1 and PM2, on CD, YouTube, Bandcamp, Spotify and all other music platforms. The albums received rave reviews in the national music press and have been enthusiastically received by fans.
Nasmak was/is known for approaching their music in new ways each time. During the Dense Night on Nov. 23 at POM, Nasmak PM deconstruct their music into basic dance elements and improvisationally reconstruct them into “dense” tracks.
The core of Nasmak PM consists of Joop van Brakel, Toon Bressers, Truus de Groot and Henk Janssen, who also worked together over 40 years ago. PM is short for PlusMinus, because musicians get in and out. Bassist Theo van Eenbergen does not participate and guest musicians will join: in this case Peter Sijbenga (bass) and Richard van Kruysdijk (electronics, video). Richard does not limit himself to any specific instrument and, as a visual artist, not to any particular discipline. He interacts live with the musicians.
The lighting of this Dense Night is provided by Gé Wegman. Hans Nijssen will record the concert on video.
