A Day On The Water

One of our most exciting and requested trips is BACK!

Come with us on an unforgettable self-guided whitewater rafting journey on the Delaware River with Black Field Trips in Port Jervis, NY. This experience is open to all, but please note: it does involve physical activity and a moderate fitness level is recommended. While you won’t be required to get in the water, you should be comfortable around it.

We’ll kick off our adventure with a 6:00 AM sharp meet-up at the LIRR Jamaica Station in Queens. From there, we’ll head upstate (approx. 2-hour drive) to start the rafting portion of the day. We’ll spend 3 to 4.5 hours paddling 9 miles of Class I–II rapids, surrounded by scenic views, laughter, and great energy led by the Black Field Trips team.

After the rafting run, we’ll stop for a meal at a local spot before heading back to Queens around 9:00 PM (depending on traffic).

• Water, snacks
• Beer or wine (cans/plastic only – no glass allowed on rafts)
• A towel and change of clothes
• Comfortable athletic/Swim wear (you will get splashed!)

Info: We will be meeting up at the Jamaica LIRR (MTA: Sutphin Blvd - Archer Ave) station in Queens, NY. We plan on hitting the road at 6:15am SHARP!! *Refunds WILL NOT be given if you are late and get left.*
