This will be a medieval-themed event based on 16th-century Tourneys. You can cheer for your favorite knights as they charge down the jousting lane or while fighting on foot with swords. There will be archery and throwing weapons. During this event, we will host a Grand Tourney, a chivalrous competition common in the Middle Ages. The first sets of competitions, including hand-to-hand combat, contests of accuracy, and jousts, will start Friday afternoon.
The top competitors will perform their skills in front of the HRH Douglas Buchanan Bailey, Grand Duke of St. Cyriacuz, Tetrarch of Tiggiano, and Chief of Clan Bailey on Saturday, June 28th.
This tournament is held in honor of the Investiture of the Order of the True Cross to welcome the new knights into the order.
Please follow this event announcement for more information on how to participate in the joust or ground fighting competitions. Horse stalls and a few camping spots for overnight stays will be available. As we continue finalizing our plans, more details will be provided.
If you are interested in helping and volunteering, don't hesitate to contact Lady Gesa Wellenstein using Facebook Messenger.
We are also looking for vendors who are interested in selling handmade crafts.
