Landscape photography is my greatest love and Stowe Landscape Gardens is just perfect for practicing the art so I thought I’d organise a day of Landscape Photography at Stowe for the club.Now this isn’t organised in conjunction with Stowe so we’ll be going in as normal visitors, so normal entry fees apply, unless you’re a National Trust member.
Also, this isn’t a workshop/tutorial session, though I am willing to offer advice should it be needed.
There are a number of great buildings situated around the grounds and we will be exploring at least five of them throughout the day, making the most of the changing light and, hopefully, suitable weather conditions. Making us of the manmade landscape to frame and accentuate the buildings.
Hopefully the trees will be in full autumn colour too.
The event will run from 10am right through to 5pm when the gardens close but there are no refreshment facilities within the gardens so we’ll need to take our own snacks and lunch.
More details to follow closer to the time, and watch out for a separate sunrise event in the morning of the same day, weather permitting.
