Jennifer Jaymes and Gabriel Magni bring their love for social tango to Bremerton on June 14th, 2025. If you’ve been interested in Argentine Tango, this is the day to get started with a sturdy foundation. Those of you who took the USA dance 8-week series, or consider yourself a beginner-intermediate level, this day is for you. Class I. Absolute Beginner Foundations 2:30-3:15PM
We’ll start from the very beginner with foundations in the walk and hug that will get us syncing our bodies and moving together in a step. Anyone is welcome in this class- if you are brand new to tango and want to start, or you feel you need a refresher to get moving confidently. We’ll be looking at important foundational pieces that you cannot hear too many times because …tango is walk!
Class II. Beginner’s Next Steps 3:30-5PM
Expanding on Class I, we’ll give you crucial basics that will get you walking on the social floor and connecting with your partner. Those who took Class I are welcome to stay, as well as anyone who took Jennifer’s 8-week USA dance series in Kitsap in 2024. If you have been studying tango and want to sharpen your foundations at any level, you’re welcome go deeper in the quality of your step and the communication in your embrace. We’ll be giving simple but impactful exercises that will help you to feel confident walking in a social setting. *There is something for anyone from beginner-intermediate in this class.
