  • Spend time with Darrin Keith Bastfield as he shares his artistic journey and creative process.
  • See one of his famous works that have been featured on National television shows, local news, magazines, and the largest cultural institutions in the area such as Center Stage, Reginald F. Lewis Museum, and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
  • View his collection of napkin masterpieces created by Bastfield, renowned artist friends, patrons, and perhaps meet one of them.

? Hands-On Art Activities:

  • Participate in creating napkin sketches and other artistic activities with Bastfield.
  • Enjoy the therapeutic process of art-making and take home a keepsake from the day.

? Sip and Savor:

  • Sip some of Darrin’s favorite wines after we cling our wine glasses in honor of inspiraction and creativit. .

  • Hear recordings that Bastfield and the late Tupac Shakur created when they formed the rap group Born Busy including a rare first-ever master recording created by Tupac Shakur during his teenage years in Baltimore.
  • Listen to vinyl records that Bastfield loves most and perhaps sing along to some favorite songs.
  • Get a sneak preview you flip through the pages of Bastfield’s screenplay based on the controversial world of art and see a portion of his documentary film.

  • Hear Darrin talk about his book, Back in the Day: My Life and Times with Tupac Shakur that was published in 2002 by Random House and his experiences at the Baltimore School for the Arts.
