We have heard lots of good things about velodrome cycling and how it can help you improve your cycling so we thought we had better try it. The plan is to have a newbie focused session from 10am until 11am for people who want to try it at gentle speeds and then from 11am until midday we can have a slightly more speed focused session. In both sessions we will have some expert and not so expert helpers there to give you advice from how to ride in a velodrome to bike set up. If you didn't attend the off season gains session our resident bullet Tom Williams uses the velodrome to test his set up making minor changes and riding to power to see how they feel and crucially to see if they make him faster. There is no charge for Tri Wellington members this is just something we are pulling together for anyone who is keen but let us know in the event so we know how many to expect. If there is bad weather on the 21st we will postpone for one week until the 28th.
