Join us for a day at the farm at OKO Farms on Wednesday June 26th at 6:30 PM.

OKO Farms is an aquaponics farm based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They will be hosting GIRL GANG for a farm tour and workshop.

The tour will include a walkthrough of OKO's outdoor aquaponics farm and education center. We will see first hand their innovative Lo-TEK practices and aquaponics plant beds. We will get to meet the freshwater fish and dive into the history of aquaponics and the role of aquaponics farming in urban communities. We suggest you dress comofrtably for outdoor weather and wear closed toed shoes.

Following the farm tour, GIRL GANG members will participate in a hands on activity that may include seeding, transplanting, harvesting, feeding fish or supporting with composting. The activity will be determined day of!
