About this Event
"Small Group Walk - limited to 20 people"
Walk Description: We'll be walking through a great section of Kitsilano, from the water to its commercial heart on West Broadway. By walking on beautiful streets & through park areas as well as hearing from others and sharing amongst the group, we'll see & learn new things about this bit of Kits.
Walk Leader: Lisa Slakov - "Kits is my chosen neighbourhood in Vancouver and I've been living here for almost 40 years. I am nuts about great cities, their neighbourhoods and quirks and enjoy helping to get people moving through our neighbourhoods in whatever active way they can (bike, walk, hop, pogo stick etc)"
Starting place: At the corner of MacDonald St and Pt Grey Rd on the west side under the trees
How to recognize your walk leader(s): Will wear a blue straw hat and will have a sign with "X" (for marks the spot)
Accessibility Info: Uneven terrain, Breaks offered along the way, Family-friendly, Bicycles welcome, Should be largely wheelchair friendly but not sure about park area & every corner
Travel Tips: Number 2 bus goes right by start and very near to end points. Start is right on the Seaside Greenway for biking & walking
