About this Event
Robyn Gigl is an award-winning author, attorney, and activist. Her popular Erin McCabe legal thrillers have landed on Best of the Year lists at The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, CrimeReads, LAMBDA Literary, and more.
As part of Trans Awareness Week, join us for this special author event featuring Robyn Gigl in conversation with Jeffrey Meanza, associate artistic director of Playmakers Repertory Company. They will discuss her writing career and the development of the series, including her newest book Nothing But the Truth. This propulsive and timely thriller confronts M**der, prejudice, and police corruption–as transgender criminal attorney Erin McCabe faces an uphill battle to defend a state trooper accused of murdering a Black investigative reporter, with plenty of evidence to link him to the case.
Copies of Robyn Gigl’s books will be available on-site for sale and signing. This program is co-presented with NC State’s LGBTQ Pride Center.
