About this Event
On January 2nd, John Whitmire was inaugurated as the City of Houston's 63rd mayor. Just shy of his first 100 days in office, Mayor Whitmire has adopted several approaches to improve public safety, the city’s infrastructure, and delivery of services. Join John Whitmire and Baker Institute fellow Edward M. Emmett for a wide-ranging conversation on the challenges and opportunities facing the Bayou City.
Join us for a Director’s Lecture Series that will explore Mayor Whitmire’s plans to shape a vibrant and sustainable future for the people of Houston. This event is free and open to the public; pre-registration is required.
