We are thrilled and honored to host North Carolina Media and Journalism Hall of Fame member Ernie Pitt as he shares his story of founding Winston-Salem's first (and only) black-owned newspaper. Whether you are a student of journalism, a history-buff, or a curious citizen, Mr. Pitt's story has an enduring relevance to our city and our culture.
Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will be donated to Mr. Pitt's alma mater, the UNC School of Journalism. We hope you can join us!
