Mak is sure our world is starving for healing. "Invisible Limp" is a miraculous blend of raw and real life experiences. It takes the reader through crushing losses where life stops and begins again.
While writing, Mak says she was accompanied by the spiritual force of humanity, and that whatever made her a writer has everything to do with misery and how people can evolve to find their highest and deepest selves in the dirt, in the darkest of times. Mak says she is a living scar that hits the floor each morning, giving thanks for a new day.
"Invisible Limp" is her wish that readers find the resilience to keep moving through both the terror and beauty of what it means to be fully human.
