About this Event
Assisted Dying – Time For Change?
Later this month, the House of Commons will debate legislation that would give terminally ill adults in England and Wales the right to choose to end their lives.
Ahead of the debate on the Bill in Parliament, I'm holding an event to hear from expert speakers on both sides of the debate as well as you, the constituents of Dartford.
This is a complex issue, so it's important to me that I hear the facts from experts and your views before the debate.
The event will give you a chance to listen to speakers from Care Not Killing and Dignity In Dying who will present arguments for and against changing the law surrounding assisted dying and give an overview of how this could work. You'll then get a chance to share your views with me and ask questions that you have to the speakers.
