Primarily set in the early โ60s in the middle of the New York folk music scene, the film traces the then unknown 19-year-old from obscurity, through his meteoric rise as the preeminent folk singer of the day, and culminating in his rock and roll โcoming outโ at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. Featuring the ever versatile Chalamet actually playing guitar and singing Dylanโs iconic tunes. Also with Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.

During that time, he worked on projects such as 12 Years a Slave, Ad Astra, Amsterdam, and Armageddon Time. In addition to feature films, his credits also include the Amazon series Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
