a cloud, a distance is a 45 minute dance performance in which five performers create and inhabit an intricate web, woven across anchor points and lines of tension with spindles of multi coloured yarn.

we'll perform for ~45 minutes, and then hold space to chat about the project, and play with the material; the performance generates plenty of scrap yarn to untangle and weave, and i will show you how we prepare new spindles so that anyone curious will have the chance to step into the structure and experience the work from the inside.
