Based on the humorous writings of author Jean Shepherd, this beloved holiday movie is presented live on stage! The story follows the wintry exploits of youngster Ralphie Parker, who spends most of his time dodging a bully and dreaming of his ideal Christmas gift, a "Red Ryder air rifle." Frequently at odds with his cranky dad but comforted by his doting mother, Ralphie struggles to make it to Christmas Day with his glasses and his hopes intact.Showcase on Stage will be performing “A Christmas Story" at Centralia High School this holiday season. Performances will be Thursday, Friday & Saturday, November 21-23 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 reserved chair seats and will go on sale Friday, November 15 at 6 pm online at centraliamusic.ludus.com. Tickets purchased online via credit/debit card will have an additional service fee.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Please use the NORTH (back parking lot) entrance for all performances.
