The Sons of Scotland Pipe Band are hosting a fundraiser at the Barrhaven Legion to help support their trip to Vancouver next February to perform at the Invictus Games.The band will be part of a 300 member massed band playing at the opening ceremonies, and all funds raised will help with travel costs to BC. This event will feature the pipes and drums of the Sons of Scotland, highland dancers, and a celtic session group during the afternoon which runs from 2 to 5 pm. We will have a big silent auction, free coffee, tea and snacks, and there will be a cash bar. Free parking, lots of great fun, and something for people of all ages. Tickets are onsale at EventBrite for only $20 plus their fees, and a limited number will be on offer.
